UWATEC Aladin Dive Computers
Uwatec’s Aladin dive computers are closely associated with diving scientific achievement and their Aladin range is good evidence of this. Their range, often with the latest microbubble algorithm are probably the best available today. The example featured to the left is the new Aladin Prime dive computer which just happens to be one of our favourite examples of the range. It has been designed with recreational divers in mind with a great selection of features often used in some of the more expensive computers but at a really cheap price. It is easy enough to use for anyone who is new to diving but as already mentioned has many top level features. This makes it the perfect balance of functional and useful.
New hardware functions, such as user changeable batteries and push button operation are combined with a heavy duty, polyurethane wrist strap. As with the higher end Smart computers, the Aladin PRIME also features IrDA (infrared) communication technology for easy downloading to your PC and FREE SmartTRAK software. The 25 hour memory allows you to download your entire week of diving in the Red Sea once you return home, and the 4 second sampling rate gives an extremely accurate dive profile. The IrDa connection speed can be changed between 9kps and 56kps.The main intention of Uwatec with the Aladin Prime is to make your dives as easily and enjoyable as possible whether you’re diving on nitrox or air.
Uwatec Aladin dive computers are a great buy for your money. They are often the cheapest in their range and when combined with the stunning features you really can’t go wrong.
